The
production of pc strand, and inspection/testing procedures
covered by this accreditation, are conducted in accordance
with the PTI Manual of Certification, and the plant’s
approved Quality Assurance Manual. Annual plant inspections
and semi-annual independent strand testing are conducted by
PSI to monitor the plant’s quality system.
Our
pc strand partners’ audit demonstrated their outstanding
manufacturing process, in plant quality control, testing,
and inspection program for the production of pc strand in
compliance with the Post Tensioning Institute Manual of
Certification of Plants Producing Prestressed Concrete
Strand and ASTM A370 (Standard Test Methods and
Definitions for Mechanical Testing of Steel Products)
and ASTM A416 (Standard Specification for Steel Strand,
Uncoated Seven-Wire for Prestressed Concrete).
