ANDRE CRISPIN ANNOUNCED HIS RETIREMENT

Andre A. Crispin has announced his retirement as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of The Crispin Company, which he founded in 1949.

The Crispin Company, headquartered in Houston-Texas, pioneered the import of steel mill products to the United States in the early days after WWII. Over the years the company has represented major steel companies from leading steel producing areas of the world. 

 

At present, the company is a major importer of API5CT and API5L pipes serving the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and is the largest U.S. importer of PC strand used post-tensioned, prestressed, and precast applications in various sectors of concrete construction.

Mr. Crispin has had major roles in local civic activities and was, prior to his retirement, the most senior Houston Consular Official. He has represented Belgium in Houston as Consul General for over 52 years.

He is succeeded by the company's current President & Chief Executive Officer, Jacques E. Bouchez who also now serves as Consul General of Belgium in Houston.
